Juventus ‘to offer Adrien Rabiot as part of deal for Christian Eriksen in January’ as Italian champions look to beat Real Madrid to Tottenham star
Juventus are ready to offer Adrien Rabiot as part of a deal to bring Christian Eriksen to Turin in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The French midfielder has struggled to secure a regular place in Juve’s starting XI and is behind the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi, Sami Khedira and Aaron Ramsey in the pecking order.
With the 24-year-old deemed surplus to requirements, Juve hope the incentive of offering Rabiot plus cash could be enough to sign the wantaway Tottenham star once the window reopens in the new year, according to Le10sport.

Eriksen is able to leave Spurs on a free next summer but Daniel Levy is desperate to cash in on the Danish star before then, with Real Madrid also keeping tabs on the 27-year-old’s situation.
However, instead of signing him on a free at the end of the season, Juventus may look to avoid the risk of losing out on the playmaker and will instead make a move before then.
Should the deal go ahead, it would bring Rabiot’s six-month stint in Italy to an end following his move from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

It’s not just Real and Juve that are potential destinations for Eriksen, either.
According to reports, his representatives ‘made contact’ with Bayern Munich after the German side hammered Tottenham in the Champions League.
Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the situation but Eriksen is thought to prefer waiting until the summer when his negotiating position is strong as a free agent.
