Real Madrid ‘contemplating contract extension for Karim Benzema’ with French striker’s current deal set to end in 2021
Real Madrid are considering handing Karim Benzema a new deal at the Bernabeau.
The French striker has been in formidable form this season for Zinedine Zidane’s side, scoring nine times in 11 La Liga appearances.
His current deal only runs up until the summer of 2021, and according to Marca, the club are keen to extend that to 2023.

They report that negotiations are already underway between the player and Real, with an agreement still a way off.
If no deal is sealed, there would be no shortage of suitors for the 31-year-old, with Paris Saint-Germain and several Premier League clubs thought to be interested.
