Kylian Mbappe missed Paris Saint-Germain training on Monday ahead of their crunch Champions League last-16 second leg on Wednesday against Borussia Dortmund.
After losing the first leg 2-1, PSG have to win to keep their European hopes alive and will have to do so without their supporters in the Parc des Princes, as it was announced on Monday that the game will be played behind closed doors.
Now it has emerged that star striker Mbappe was absent from training due to a sore throat with just two days to go until PSG’s biggest game of the season.

The France international was said to be unhappy to miss out, according to French outlet Le Parisien, but the club have said he will train with the group on Tuesday.
However, PSG did not guarantee that the World Cup winner would be available on Wednesday night.
With Marco Verratti and Thomas Meunier already ruled out due to suspension, it would come as another major blow to Thomas Tuchel should Mbappe not be ready.
PSG’s game against Strasbourg at the weekend in Ligue 1 was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak which is having an impact on sport across the world.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Borussia Dortmund will take place in an empty Parc des Princes
There were fears that Wednesday’s tie would be postponed at this late stage as French government have placed a ban on gatherings of more than 1,000 people, but Paris police confirmed it will go ahead at the 48,000-capacity stadium.
Parc des Princes has been disinfected but the government’s ban following an emergency security meeting meant there was no choice but to take action.
