Harry Kane has delivered the bombshell Tottenham have been fearing and told the club that he wants to leave in the summer.
The 27-year-old striker has over 200 goals for Spurs but no trophies to his name. And with Tottenham heading towards another season away from Champions League football, Kane appears to have signalled the beginning of the end of his Spurs career.
Owner Daniel Levy doesn’t want to sell the England captain, especially to another English club, but he would want about £150m if Tottenham are pushed.

WHO REPLACES HIM AT TOTTENHAM?
Tottenham would prefer to bring in replacements on an initial loan amid financial constraints, but have considered a number of targets:
Leeds extended Bamford’s contract last year amid increasing interest. He has been excellent this season and has a well-rounded game to suit Tottenham’s requirements.
Patrick Bamford’s all-round game makes him a well-suited replacement for Kane at Spurs
Brentford striker is a work in progress yet would command a £30million fee, which is closer to Tottenham’s budget plans but still represents a risk.
