Emre Can closes in on £25m Borussia Dortmund move as he undergoes a medical before bringing his Juventus nightmare to an end
Emre Can is going to have a medical with Borussia Dortmund on Friday as he closes in on a £25m move back to Germany from Juventus.
Can has fallen out of favour under Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri, who even left him out of their Champions league squad during the first half of the season.
Can joined Juventus on a free in 2018 from Liverpool but will head to Dortmund on an initial loan deal that has an obligation to buy in the summer.

Can was left out of Juve’s Champions League squad this season and has played just eight times
The 26-year-old Germany international has only made eight appearances for Juventus this season, the most recent of which came as an 83rd minute substitute in the 4-0 win over Cagliari on January 6.
Can was raging when it emerged he had been left out of the Juventus 22-man squad for the Champions League this season.
‘The fact that I am not in the Champions League squad is extremely shocking for me, mainly because I was promised something different last week,’ he said.
‘There were talks with other clubs [before the transfer window closed] and one of the conditions for me to stay was to be part of the Champions League squad.
In his first season, under Massimiliano Allegri, Can played 37 games and scored four goals
‘They phoned me and told me, in a conversation that didn’t even last a minute, that I was not on the list and they didn’t give an explanation.
‘That does make me angry and furious because I think that I played well last season, above all in the Champions League. I really can’t understand this and will now see what I decide to do from here and I will seek talks with the club next week.’
In Can’s first season at Juve, he played 37 times and scored four under Massimiliano Allergi.
