‘Everything can be fixed if he retracts what he said’: Edinson Cavani’s mother unhappy with Atletico president for saying ‘we’re not here to be robbed’ over failed January switch… but future move could happen if he apologises!
Edinson Cavani’s mother is unhappy with Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo for his comments regarding the Paris Saint-Germain forward’s failed move to the LaLiga side.
Cavani was heavily linked with a move to Atletico last month but a switch did not materialise.

‘It is not impossible that Edinson could go to Atletico Madrid in the summer, as long as the president rectifies what he said,’ Gomez told AS.
‘The president of Atletico must apologise. We are not spiteful and everything can be fixed if he retracts what he said.
‘My son is going to have offers, it is unquestionable because he is a proven forward, as he has shown in all these years.
‘But he keeps thinking about being able to go to Atletico because he would like to play under Cholo [Diego Simeone].’
Cavani, who is out of contract in June, has struggled for game time at the Parc des Princes this season but returned from injury in PSG’s 5-0 win over Montpellier on Saturday.
