And with English clubs seemingly lining up to bring him back to the Premier League, Hamann claims that Liverpool are one of them.

‘What I hear is that Liverpool have great interest,’ the former midfielder told Sky Germany.
‘I would imagine that next summer they could become one of the biggest interested parties.
‘He’s from Manchester City and I do not know if he would come back again, and it’s a thing for Manchester United, too, if they’ve ever been to the rivals.’
The teenager hit the headlines at the weekend after his was left out of the Dortmund squad that beat Borussia Monchengladbach.

Dortmund initially tried to keep the matter internalised but news of his axing from the squad inevitably got out into the media last Thursday.
‘The expectations of Jadon are enormous, but that is dangerous,’ said manager Lucien Favre in his press conference previewing Saturday’s game.
‘Jadon is a great player, no discussions, but he still has a lot to learn.’
