Bruno Fernandes has been named Premier League Player of the Month for November, putting him just one accolade behind Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fernandes has been a revelation since signing from Sporting Lisbon for £47million in late January, and in his 11 months at Old Trafford he has already been named Premier League Player of the Month a remarkable three times.
During his blistering spell in English football Ronaldo was awarded the honour on four occasions, meaning Fernandes is rapidly closing in on his record achievement.

The Portuguese midfielder was handed the award on Friday at United’s Carrington training base, as the club prepare to face local rivals Manchester City.
It was a double Portuguese win in November, with Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho winning Manager of the Month.
During the month Fernandes registered four goals for United from four Premier League matches, including an impressive brace against Everton to inspire a 3-1 comeback victory over Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

In his ten Premier League appearances this season so far, Fernandes has seven goals and four assists to his name.
The 26-year-old is amassing jaw-dropping figures for the Red Devils, and though United failed to progress from the group stages of the Champions League he still recorded four goals and an assist in six matches.
In total Fernandes has 24 Premier League appearances to his name, with 15 goals and 11 assists.
