Betsafe launches in Kenya

Bet High Kenya Ltd, a Kenyan company licensed by the Betting Control & Licensing Board (BCLB), announced it has launched its online sports betting with Betsafe. According to the statement, Bet High is to sign a partnership with BetssonGroup, owner of Betsafe, and will be rebranded in the Kenyan market as Betsafe Ventures.

Acting managing director of Bet High Alex Kobia said: “Our Responsible gaming program is unlike any other in this market with the safety of the Kenyan sports betting fans in mind. Our online site contains unique control and safety features directly on the site.” He added the company’s initial priority will be responsible gambling and support to players with gambling problems.

“Quick payouts are essential for both us and our customers and we will do our utmost to ensure that over time we are the best in the industry here,” Kobia stated Betsafe aims to deliver a reliable sportsbetting experience. Users in the Kenyan market will be able to use SMS betting with no game ID requirement. The users can also cancel their bets within the provided time window after the bet is placed.

Betsafe stated it supports the regulatory means introduced by BCBL and expressed optimism over entering a new market.  “In essence, our ambition is to deliver a trustworthy product with safe and quick pay-outs, innovative betting services, passion, and commitment to Kenyan football, responsible gaming, and outstanding customer support.”
