Liverpool are faced with yet another injury setback in defence with Andy Robertson ruled out of Scotland’s UEFA Nations League fixture with Slovakia on Sunday.
Scotland manager Steve Clarke confirmed Robertson has dropped out of his 23-man squad with a tight hamstring along with the suspended Lyndon Dykes.
It’s the last thing Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wanted to hear with fellow defenders Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold already sidelined.

Fellow central defender Gomez is likely to miss most of the remainder of the season after needing surgery to repair a tendon in his left knee.
Right-back Alexander-Arnold missed England’s international triple-header this week after limping out of the 1-1 draw at Manchester City with a hamstring injury.
